Vice President - Design & Construction

Bala has 16 years of experience in specialized civil engineering projects including planning, site logistics, and completion.  He is experienced in construction engineering for multi-storied buildings, pre-cast structures, bridge, marine structures, hydroelectric power projects, and heavy steel fabrication and erection systems.

Prior to joining QVC Realty, Bala worked with Larsen & Toubro as project head for an SPV between L&T’s subsidiary, L&T UIL, and East India Hotels Ltd. Bala was responsible for conceptualizing the project, employing agencies, developing & operating the project. Bala has worked as technical head for Bangalore region covering Karnataka and Goa, and has also handled business development roles. Some of the projects in which he was involved are the nuclear power plant in Kaiga, Forum mall and Bangalore International Airport.

Bala has earlier worked for BBR India, Montreal Engineering Company, and Mysore Structurals Limited in various project managerial capacities.

Bala has also been involved in delivering training programs in technical and behavioral topics at L&T, engineering colleges, and several real estate development companies. Bala holds an Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from Bangalore University.

Prasad B
General Manager - Contracts, Planning & Procurement

Prasad has 20 years of experience in construction coordination, procurement, quality surveying, cost management, commercial management, project management, value engineering, safety, health and environmental engineering.

In his last role as project manager at Larsen & Toubro, Prasad worked on a joint venture between L&T and East India Hotels Ltd. He has also headed L&T’s residential projects in Karnataka, and handled roles of contract administration, financial management, and construction management.

Previously, Prasad was part of the team at Nagarjuna Constructions that led the construction of the mega-housing project of the National Games Village. Prasad has worked for various construction companies, including Century Builders and Consolidated Constructions.

Prasad has a degree in Civil Engineering from Mysore University.
