Prakash Gurbaxani
Founder & CEO
Prakash Gurbaxani founded QVC Realty Co. in January 2007. As the CEO of QVC Realty, he directs all aspects of the business.
Prakash brings with him over two decades of experience in real estate, construction and IT/ITES. Prior to setting up QVC Realty Co., Prakash was the CEO of TSI Ventures, a joint venture between Tishman Speyer and ICICI Venture. Before TSI Ventures, he was the CEO of TransWorks Information Services, one of India's leading BPO companies with almost 4,000 employees.
In December 1997, Prakash successfully launched India's first Internet media company, Micromedia. In April 2000, he co-founded 24/7 Customer, a leading outsourced CRM services company based in Bangalore. Between 1984 and 1997, he worked in various senior management positions in the construction industry in the United States.
Prakash was one of the finalists for the Ernst & Young India Entrepreneur of the Year 2001 awards. He is currently a charter member of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) Bangalore Chapter.
Prakash holds a Master's degree in Construction Management from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), Newark, NJ, and a B.S. (Major in Civil Engineering) from Regional Engineering College (REC), Nagpur, India.
